My husband and I are taking our first skiing trip ever, in Canada for a week. I have skied a bunch of times in high school but am still a beginner (now 31 yo) and my husband skied once, snowboarded a couple times. We are going to take some lessons in snowboarding which appeals more to us.
What should we bring on our vacation, and what should we expect?? We are coming from Boston, driving. We own no real ski gear and are not sure what to expect. How long does an average newbie couple last on bunny hills? Two hours at a time?
The Banff Lake Louise area in Alberta, Canada boasts some of the best champagne powder in the world. They offer skiing and snowboarding for all skill levels from never ever to experts. In the heart of Banff National Park there’s something for everyone.
I want to start up a ski and snowboard tour.
Spend from November to May in Whistler, Canada and then from June to October in Queenstown, New Zealand.
Would anyone be interested in this kind of tour and if so what alpine events would you want to focus in??
I don’t think anyone can take from november to may to ski we do have to work and go to school.
