What Are Some Light Weight Snowboards For Women?

Thursday, October 22nd, 2009

Looking to get my first snowboard. Someone told me to look at kemper boards what are some other good lightweight begginers boards for women!
Thanks so much!

Well, pretty much any brand’s women’s beginner board is going to be pretty light. That’s one of the hallmarks of a women’s board (along with a narrower waist and softer flex).

That being said – I’d just check out a few different brand websites and research which are their women’s beginner boards. Here are a few to get you started:
K2 Moment – http://www.k2snowboards.com/boards/board.asp?productid=24
Ride Solace – http://www.ridesnowboards.com/boards/board.asp?ProductID=7

Does anybody know any cheap snowboards for a beginner?

Monday, September 7th, 2009

Yeah Ive just been snowboarding and i really like it. So i wanna buy my own snowboard for next year.
So does anybody know any cheap but durable ( also good quality ) Snowboards?
List a website.
Not really for a beginner. I mean just like an "all mountain board", for park and freeride.

As Angry Snowboarder said, now is the time to buy.

Three of my favorite websites to check out for good deals are:

http://www.backcountry.com (check out their outlet section too)

http://www.evogear.com

http://www.dogfunk.com

I’d give you board recommendations, but I don’t know much about guy’s boards. Sorry.
